I'm Brenda, a commercial photographer specializing in creating compelling imagery for brands and businesses that understand the value of a strong visual presence.

My work has taken me from product photography to interiors, architecture, food, and lifestyle.

What I enjoy most about commercial photography is that no two shoots are quite the same. Sometimes the challenge is making a beautiful product feel irresistible. Sometimes it’s finding the right light in a difficult space, working through a complicated set, or figuring out how to turn an idea in someone’s head into a photograph that actually works.

I’ve spent years working closely with art directors, stylists, designers, retouchers, clients, and production teams. I love that collaborative part of the job. I’m comfortable taking direction, offering ideas, solving problems, and stepping in wherever I’m needed to make the shoot successful.

Working independently has also taught me a lot beyond photography. I’ve learned how to plan, communicate, manage a production, work with different personalities, and keep things moving when the unexpected inevitably happens. Most importantly, I’ve learned to listen—to understand what a client or creative team is really trying to accomplish, not just what they initially ask for.

I still get excited about the same things I did when I started: good light, a great set, a challenging photograph, and that moment when everything comes together.

And when I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me in the garden, tackling a home improvement project or exploring somewhere new in my van I named Tater.

Photography has given me a pretty great life.

I’m grateful for that—and I’m still having fun with it.
