My assistant and travel companion, Riley, in Carmel, CA.

Work

Brenda is deeply passionate about creating beautiful images, whether she is photographing room scenes of furniture and home décor, or creating tabletop product shoots. She is comfortable in multiple environments, allowing her to work effortlessly both in the studio and on location. Brenda thrives on the collaborative process, enjoying the opportunity to work closely with clients, art directors, stylists, and the support staff, including set builders and retouchers.

Based in the DFW area, Brenda is always ready to travel for work. She is mobile and finds comfort in traveling in her affectionately named van, Tater. Tater is spacious enough to carry all her gear, making it an ideal mobile studio and a home on the road. This flexibility enables Brenda to take on assignments wherever her expertise is needed.

Brenda eagerly seeks new projects where she can apply her skills and creative touch. She has built a reputation for her creativity and her ability to connect with people instantly, thanks to her infectious enthusiasm and sense of humor. Her collaborative spirit and professional approach make her a valued partner in any creative endeavor.

In addition to her commercial photography skills, Brenda is a Certified Drone Pilot. She specializes in creating unique and dramatic exterior architectural images using drones, adding a dynamic perspective to her portfolio.

Play

When Brenda isn’t wrangling commercial photography assignments, she’s valiantly battling the Texas sun in her garden, determined to keep her plants alive through feats of horticultural heroism. She also enjoys home improvement projects—armed with YouTube tutorials, an overconfident attitude, and a coffee-fueled sprint to the nearest home improvement store, no project stands a chance (especially her poor, unsuspecting walls).

Brenda is also a kitchen entertainer, where culinary experiments meet impromptu dance routines. She’s been known to whip up dinner while simultaneously sipping wine and busting moves—sometimes all at once, with a choreography that would make Broadway jealous (not really) and a wine glass that miraculously remains upright (most of the time).

With a 4th-degree black belt in Japanese karate, Brenda is officially more qualified to break boards than most home improvement stores. Over the years, she has shared her martial arts prowess, teaching karate, kickboxing, and Zumba—her classes renowned for equal parts sweat and sass.

Nowadays, Brenda hits the gym so she can haul heavy photography gear, dominate kitchen dance-offs without spilling her wine, and—perhaps most impressively—tie her shoes without toppling over. The last feat is celebrated annually.

Brenda’s work/life balance is a finely tuned operation, sustained by her busy college student daughter, her helicopter pilot husband (who may or may not offer aerial support for lost keys), and their extremely pampered Pomeranian, who rules the household with an iron paw—and expects treats on demand.

Originally hailing from the East Coast and seasoned by a Midwest upbringing, Brenda harbors a West Coast soul and an unwavering allegiance to the Denver Broncos—yes, it’s complicated, but she manages. She’s been known to roam the skies, via Cory’s helicopter or by drone, capturing jaw-dropping aerial views that transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. Brenda turns every trip into an epic quest for the next great shot. With Tater and drones in tow, they chase adventure, freedom, and the perfect vantage point—proving that with a little high-flying ingenuity, there’s no such thing as a boring landscape. Each image becomes a postcard from her travels, a visual tale of the places she’s explored and the wonders she’s witnessed along the way.
